Meet emily
I’m so happy you landed here—welcome! My love for design as a vehicle for sharing your story runs deep, and my formal experience is both diverse and extensive. I earned my BFA in graphic design from Savannah College of Art and Design before going on to work with brands ranging from Martha Stewart and Capezio to the NBA and Dash.
I eventually found myself longing for a change of pace and the kind of creative freedom that would allow me to push design boundaries—so I left the corporate world behind and founded Emily Kathryn Paper in 2016 with the goal of using my creative abilities to help couples distinguish their events from the masses.
Today, I absolutely love that I get to produce enduring art for multifaceted events and dynamic people…all while maintaining control over quality, ensuring the creative process is inspired by your distinct needs, and spending infinite hours dialing in the details.
More than anything, I value craftsmanship and have a soft spot for traditional printing processes (I would totally swipe right on a pillowy letterpress card). When I’m not getting giddy as I assemble a one-of-a-kind stationery suite (feels like the first time, every time)—I’m probably perusing fine art, perfecting gluten-free recipes, or playing with paper while scrapbooking.
